We are a family owned and operated company in Palmyra, MO, USA, directly located on Hwy 61, as well as a second location off county road 402. Role and Responsibilities

• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
• Use basic mathematic skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and fractions.
• Understanding of how the machine works to maintain the machinery for which they are responsible and ensure it functions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation.
• Position the steel and secure the steel onto the loadout table.
• Count and record finished goods and handle the shipping instructions. Operator must tag and mark finished goods and drop material and place the drop material into the proper area.
• Clean the work site area by using brooms, rags, or cleaning compounds and will use proper housekeeping practices
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Efficiently use standard and precision measuring equipment when applicable.
• Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good attitude and works well in team atmosphere.
• Ability to learn new skills, technology, and equipment as industry changes.

Preferred Skills

• Experienced Machine/ Laser Operator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
